Live Bookmarks

If you like to read news or blogs, you have probably heard about RSS feeds. They let you stay updated on the latest news or posts. Firefox features Live Bookmarks, which are book marks you can put on a toolbar and when you click on them, they show the names of the articles, post, etc. It also works on some email services like Gmail. Whenever you want to add a Live Bookmark, you just click the logo that appears on the bottom-right corner and Firefox asks which tooolbar you want it on and the name you want to give, and you're done. Closing Firefox

You just found all of the websites for your research. They're all open in tabs in your web browser. Wait...you don't need one of the tabs, so you reach for the X button. The Google Toolbar for Firefox

Finally, Google has released the famous toolbar (once avaible only in Internet Explorer) for Firefox on July 7th, 2005. Of course there are Google Toolbar "Impersinations" for Firefox. It looks almost exactly like the Internet Explorer version, and has the same features, except Pop-Up Blocker (because you don't need one in Firefox. Pop-Ups

Firefox comes built in with a pop-up blocker. It blocks all pop-ups, and tells you it blocked them. It also asks that if you want to allow pop-ups from this site or not. Along with that it displays if you want to edit the pop-up controls. There you can edit how "harsh" you want the pop controls to be. It can pick out the smallest of them all, or the big ones. Critical Updates

In Firefox, there is a button on the corner. It is to check for updates for the browser. They are critical updates. When Firefox knows there are updates that you NEED, it notifies you. Another thing that I like about Firefox are the toolbars. It took me some time to figure this one out, but now every single feature that I need is under my grasp. You have the power to move all the items (buttons) on the toolbar wherever you want them. Another thing you can include on the toolbars are the spacers, which are the light lines on the toolbars that puts the like buttons in one category. You can put one anywhere you want on a toolbar.
